Sun Seeker: My Favorite Resort 2021 Looks

One thing I think we can universally agree upon is that we could all use a vacation right about now. Even though I have no plans to venture somewhere warm anytime soon, I find myself perusing resort wear items and dreaming of sitting on a beach with a (strong) drink in hand. If you’re lucky enough to be able to flee to the beach this winter, allow me to suggest some lewks and live vicariously through you.

When it comes to shopping for a vacation, Revolve is normally my first stop. They carry a diverse range of brands at varying price points, and most importantly they have free 2-day shipping and free returns on every order. This time of year, I also turn to Australian brands for warm-weather looks because it’s summer in their hemisphere, which means they have a larger stock of swimwear and the like than U.S. retailers. A few of my go-to Australian brands are DISSH, Jagger & Stone, and Verge Girl

Check out my favorites from this season below:

resort 2021Swimsuit bottoms (currently on sale)

I love the swimsuits in Victoria Secret model Candice Swanepoel’s new line, Tropic of C. The suits, like #1 above, are eco-conscious and feature flattering cuts designed to celebrate the female form.

I’ve said before how much I love the swimsuits by SAME Los Angeles. I personally love how unique their suits are, and I plan to invest in a few of them for my (hopeful) vacations later this year.

One of my favorite emerging swimwear trends is the extra-long ties we’ve been seeing on regular-cut tops. Like #3 above, elongated strings allow for more versatile styling of the traditional triangle top. I’m excited to try out some of the styles I’ve seen floating around on Instagram! I’m also loving the front-tie trend, as shown on #5 above.

Hat / Coverup

I’m absolutely obsessed with #’s 1 & 3 above. I Love the chic and sophisticated style of 1, and the flirty covered-up-but-not-really vibe of 3. Both will be making an appearance in my closet ASAP.

I bought #2 above last year, and I’m happy to see it back in stock this season. I got so many compliments every time I wore it last year, and the best part is it’s only $58 and has free shipping!

Top / Skirt

I love an easy, breezy vacation style. Among my favorite vacay-ready brands is Cult Gaia. Every single thing they make is a work of art in my opinion. Their clothes, like #1 above, are investment pieces, but well worth it. If I can find an occasion for it, this dress will be added to my closet this year!

One of my other favorite, and more affordable, summer style brands in Indah. Like #3 above, Indah’s styles embody the effortless-chic vacation look.

The last dress above is a pricier item, but I’m getting major Versace Jungle Dress vibes and I can’t help but be obsessed!

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

I’m a sucker for tassel details – as evidenced by #’s 1 & 3 above.

The photo for #4 above doesn’t do these sandals justice. I’m in love with the braided detail (and the price tag!).

#5 is my FAVORITE hat from last summer – and the one I’m wearing in multiple photos in this post.

If you’re heading somewhere warm, I hope this post helped inspire your vacation style. As always, thank you for reading and sharing! XOXO
