Embracing The Soft Spring Aesthetic

As we leave April and move into May, spring is officially upon us. For me, this means I get to put away my winter black attire and dip into my warm-weather whites. My current closet rotation is a symphony of creams, beiges, whites, and ivories, which is exactly how I like it. While I’ll never consider myself a cottagecore girl, I’ve definitely embraced the soft girl spring aesthetic this year. Maybe it’s the lower-than-usual temps that have kept me from going straight from heavy winter coats to summer shorts and crop tops, but whatever the reason I’ve found myself wearing a lot of flowy maxi dresses, cute cardigans, and slip skirts.

The outfits are giving dreamy-ethereal with a side of modern, feminine touches and to be honest I’m not mad at it. I know it’s only a matter of time before the scorching heat finds us and I’ll be embracing the less-is-more mentality, but for now, I’m loving my soft girl era. From bloomer shorts and trench coats to silk maxi dresses and lace details, I’ve linked some of my favorite dreamy spring finds below. You can also find a larger selection linked HERE.
